HTE (EX) Price and Specs, Kia Carens Clavis

The HTE (EX) sits between the HTE (O) and the HTK+, and it is the cheapest Carens Clavis with a sunroof. At ₹12.86 lakh it runs the 1.5 litre petrol with 113 bhp and 143.8 Nm, paired with a 6 speed manual. Kia rates it at 15.34 kmpl.

Over the HTE (O) petrol, the extra ₹51,000 adds a single pane electric sunroof, Star Map LED daytime running lamps and LED lamps for all three rows. The brochure also lists fully automatic air conditioning from this trim, and the driver's window gets one touch up and down. Everything else from the HTE (O) stays, so you keep the 8 inch touchscreen with wireless phone mirroring, the reverse camera and six airbags.

The glossy black 15 inch alloys stay too, but there is still no push button start or cruise control. Those arrive on the HTK+, which comes only with the turbo petrol or the diesel. So if you want the regular petrol engine with the most comfort, this is as far as the line goes.
