The GTX ER gives the Carens Clavis EV a sportier look without the price of the top trims. At ₹23.04 lakh it has the 51.4 kWh battery with a claimed 490 km range, a 169 bhp motor and the full Level 2 ADAS pack.

Over the HTX ER, the ₹50,000 extra is all about style. You get lime coloured brake calipers behind the 17 inch aero alloys and high gloss black skid plates. Inside, there is a black cabin with off white accents, black leatherette seats, a 3 spoke steering wheel and metal pedals.

Comfort features stay at HTX ER level, so there are no ventilated seats, BOSE system or power driver seat. Those come on the HTX Plus ER for ₹1.50 lakh more. Pick the GTX ER if you care more about how the car looks and feels than about cooled seats. It also comes as a 6 seater at the same price.
