Overview

If you want captain seats and driver assistance without paying for the bigger battery, the HTX 6-Seater is the one. At ₹20.54 lakh it pairs the 42 kWh battery and its claimed 404 km range with Level 2 ADAS and a 360 camera.

The ADAS suite has 20 features, including forward collision avoidance, lane keeping help and smart cruise control with stop and go. In slow traffic, smart cruise can bring the car to a halt and move off again. The 360 camera with a blind view monitor makes this 4.55 metre long MPV easier to park.

The middle row has two captain seats in place of the bench, at no extra cost over the 7 seat HTX. Paddles behind the wheel set how strongly the car slows when you lift off, which Kia calls i-Pedal and regen braking. You keep the panoramic sunroof, leatherette seats and the twin 12.25 inch screens. For more range, the HTX ER 6-Seater uses the 51.4 kWh battery and costs ₹2 lakh more.
