Overview

The HTX E ER is the cheapest way to get the bigger 51.4 kWh battery in the Carens Clavis EV. It costs ₹22.04 lakh, claims 490 km of range and has a stronger 169 bhp motor than the 42 kWh versions.

It builds on the HTX E, so you get the panoramic sunroof, leatherette seats, ambient lighting, an air purifier and seat back tables, now on 17 inch aero alloys. What it does not have is ADAS or the 360 camera. That is the trade off here: the HTX at ₹20.54 lakh has the driver assistance but the smaller battery.

Choose this one if range matters more to you than driver aids, for example if you often drive between cities. For both, the HTX ER costs ₹50,000 more and adds Level 2 ADAS, smart cruise control and the 360 camera. A 6 seat version of this HTX E ER is offered at the same price.
