HTE Price and Specs, Kia Sonet

The HTE is the entry Kia Sonet, running the 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol with 82 bhp at a rated 18.4 kmpl. It drives the front wheels through a manual and, importantly for a base subcompact SUV, includes six airbags as standard, which many rivals do not offer at this price.

The HTE keeps kit minimal, with steel wheels, no touchscreen and no reverse camera, but the fundamentals are sound. You get the Sonet's smart styling, a frugal petrol and the full six airbag safety net, which makes it a sensible, safe entry into the range.

Choose the HTE if you want the Sonet looks and strong safety at the lowest price. The HTK trims add a touchscreen and a camera, the turbo brings performance, and the diesel offers excellent economy.
