The VXi (O) CNG AGS costs ₹8.18 Lakh ex-showroom and stacks three things: factory CNG, an automated gearbox and the VXi (O) convenience extras. On gas the 1.2 litre makes 69 bhp, and Maruti certifies it at 35.34 km/kg. That is ₹1,24,500 above the petrol VXi (O) manual.

Those extras are a smart key with push button start, electrically folding mirrors and Suzuki Connect for tracking, geo-fence and remote lock. Under them sits the standard VXi kit, including the 17.78 cm touchscreen, four speakers and electric mirror adjustment. The Hi Suzuki voice assistant and over-the-air updates come along too.

It costs ₹26,000 more than the VXi CNG AGS and ₹35,000 more than the VXi (O) CNG manual. A repair kit takes the place of the spare wheel, and the 14 inch steel wheels wear full covers. The petrol ZXi AMT is ₹11,500 cheaper and adds alloys and climate control, so weigh fuel savings against kit.
