The Visia is the entry Nissan Gravite, priced at ₹5.73 Lakh at the bottom of the range. Its 1.0 litre petrol makes 72 PS and drives the front wheels through a manual gearbox. The claimed mileage is 19.3 kmpl for this manual. Even so, it still seats seven.

Safety is the strong point, with six airbags fitted as standard, covering dual front, side and curtain positions. Beyond that the Visia stays basic. It does without a touchscreen, which every pricier Gravite fits. You also miss cruise control, alloy wheels and a reversing camera on this trim.

Pick the Visia if you want a seven seat car for the lowest possible outlay and can skip a screen. If you want the 8 inch touchscreen, move up to the Acenta. Buyers who value cruise control should look at the Tekna instead. There is no automatic Visia, so an EZ Shift trim is the only self-shifting route.
