The Authentic sits at the bottom of the Renault Triber range and costs ₹5.81 lakh. It is the most affordable seven seat petrol you can buy here. Power comes from a 1.0 litre petrol engine that makes 72 PS and 96 Nm. Drive goes to the front wheels through a manual gearbox, and Renault rates it at 20 kmpl.

You still get all seven seats and the same engine as every other Triber, so the space and carrying ability are here from day one. The trade off is equipment. This trim skips the 8 inch floating touchscreen that starts on the Evolution. It also goes without cruise control, which the data lists only from the Emotion upward.

Choose the Authentic if seven seats on the smallest budget matter more to you than features. It works as a no frills family runabout or a cheap airport shuttle. If you want the touchscreen, step up to the Evolution. If cruise control matters for long drives, the Emotion is the one to target.
