BMW X3 Overview

The BMW X3 is the midsize SUV in the brand's India range. It is now the G45 generation, assembled at the Chennai plant. Local build helps keep its pricing sharper than a fully imported rival. Three variants cover two petrols and a diesel, all with all wheel drive. It takes on the Mercedes GLC and the Audi Q5 in this class.

At the top sits the xDrive30 M Sport Pro at ₹76.00 Lakh. It uses a tuned 2.0 litre petrol with 258 hp, well up on the entry car. It also gets the richer M Sport Pro trim. This is the quickest X3 without moving to diesel. Place the three trims by price.

The X3 is roomy for the class, with a 550 litre boot. It seats five with good space in both rows. Ground clearance of 216 mm is high for a luxury SUV. That helps it clear rough roads and tall speed breakers.
