HTE (O) CNG Price and Specs, Kia Carens Clavis

Of the two factory CNG versions, the HTE (O) CNG is the one most families should look at. For ₹13.35 lakh you get the same 95 bhp gas engine and 6 speed manual as the HTE CNG, plus the screen and camera that the base car leaves out.

The extra ₹96,000 buys an 8 inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, so your phone connects without a cable. You also get a reverse camera, steering mounted audio buttons, headlamps that switch on by themselves, electric mirrors and a sound system with four speakers and two tweeters. The 60 litre cylinder, the 16 inch steel wheels and the six airbags are shared with the HTE CNG.

It still misses the petrol HTE (O)'s 15 inch alloys and the engine stop start feature. Compare it with the petrol HTE (EX), which costs ₹49,000 less and adds a sunroof and automatic air conditioning but runs on petrol only. Pick the CNG if most of your driving is in town and you have a CNG pump close by.
