Overview

The HTK+ (O) Turbo DCT is the cheapest Carens Clavis that combines the turbo automatic with alloys and a panoramic sunroof. At ₹17.86 lakh it pairs the 158 bhp turbo with a 7 speed dual clutch automatic, rated at 16.66 kmpl.

A dual clutch gearbox gets the next gear ready before it is needed, so shifts are quick and there is no clutch pedal at all. On this trim the automatic also brings drive modes, an electric parking brake with auto hold and push button start. Auto hold keeps the brakes on when you stop at a signal, so you can rest your foot in traffic.

Over the HTK+ Turbo DCT, the ₹1.01 lakh extra pays for LED headlamps, 17 inch alloys, the panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger and the smart dashcam.
