The HTX(A) Black Line Hybrid 7-Seater AWD is the seven seat version of the top Sorento, priced at ₹40.19 lakh. It has the petrol hybrid, all wheel drive, the Black Line styling and the complete feature list.

The 1.6 litre turbo petrol and 64 bhp motor drive through a 6 speed automatic, and the hybrid's virtual engine sound warns pedestrians at low speed.
