The HTX(A) Diesel 7-Seater AWD is the most complete diesel Sorento with regular styling. It costs ₹38.49 lakh and uses the 190 bhp, 442 Nm diesel with an 8 speed dual clutch automatic and all wheel drive.

The (A) here means Level 2+ ADAS with 30 features, more than the 21 on the HTK(A). It adds highway driving assist, which helps keep the car centred at a set speed on highways, and lane change assist. Evasive steering assist can help steer around an obstacle while braking, and navigation based smart cruise slows the car for curves and speed zones.
