B4 Price and Specs, Mahindra Bolero

B4 is the entry Mahindra Bolero, and it is the most honest workhorse in the range. It runs the 1.5 litre mHawk75 diesel with 74.96 bhp, rear wheel drive and a rated 16 kmpl, built for durability and low running cost rather than features. This is the truck-like Bolero people buy to work hard for years.

The B4 is deliberately basic. It has two front airbags but no touchscreen, no alloy wheels and no cruise control. What you get instead is the tough ladder-frame build, seven seats, high ground clearance and a simple engine that is cheap to run and easy to fix anywhere.

Choose the B4 if you want the cheapest, toughest Bolero for rural roads, load carrying or a fleet, and you do not care about equipment. Buyers who want a screen and better kit should step up to the B6, and those who want a more modern SUV should look at the Bolero Neo.
