Z2 Petrol MT is the entry Scorpio N, and it is the cheapest way into this big, ladder-frame seven seat SUV. It runs the 2.0 litre mStallion turbo petrol with a strong 200 bhp, driving the rear wheels through a manual. You get the full Scorpio N presence and the punchiest engine at the lowest price.

As the base trim it keeps things simple, with two front airbags and a 22.86 centimetre touchscreen. It skips the cruise control, sunroof and alloy wheels of higher trims, but the tough body-on-frame build, the seven seats and the commanding driving position are all here.
