Overview

The Delta CNG AMT is one of two Baleno versions Maruti added on 18 September 2026, pairing factory S-CNG with the AGS automatic. It is also the cheapest way to get a CNG automatic in the Baleno range, at ₹8.32 Lakh ex-showroom. That is ₹40,000 over the Delta CNG manual.

Maruti rates it at 34.47 km per kg, the best figure of any Baleno. In CNG mode the Z12E engine makes 69 bhp and 101.8 Nm, and it can run on petrol for 82 bhp when you need more pull. The 55 litre water equivalent cylinder sits alongside a 37 litre petrol tank.

Features match the Delta: the 17.78 cm SmartPlay Pro touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and CarPlay, rear AC vents, steering audio controls and tyre pressure monitoring. Pick this one if you sit in heavy traffic every day and want the lowest running cost without working a clutch. For a camera and auto AC, the Zeta CNG AMT costs ₹1 Lakh more.
