The Visia opens the Tekton lineup at ₹10.49 lakh, the cheapest way into the range. It runs the 1.0 litre T160 turbo petrol, which makes 100 PS and 166 Nm through a manual gearbox to the front wheels. This is a five seat SUV, and even the base car gets a turbo, so it does not feel underpowered around town.

Safety is covered by six airbags across the range, including this base car. Beyond that the Visia is basic. There is no touchscreen, no alloy wheels and no cruise control here. You are paying mainly for the turbo engine and the airbag count rather than for cabin features.

Pick the Visia only if you want the lowest Tekton price and plan to add accessories yourself. Most buyers will find it too plain for the money. Move up to the Visia Plus for a nine inch touchscreen, which makes daily use far easier.
