Authentic Price and Specs, Renault Kiger

The Authentic is the entry Kiger and the cheapest way into the range at ₹5.81 lakh. It runs the 1.0L Energy petrol, a non-turbo unit making 72 PS and 96 Nm. Drive goes to the front wheels through a manual gearbox, and there are five seats. Renault rates it at 19.71 kmpl.

Safety is the strong point here, with six airbags covering dual front, side and curtain positions. Beyond that, the kit is deliberately basic to hit the low price. There is no touchscreen, no alloy wheels and no rear camera at this level. You also miss cruise control, which no Kiger actually offers.

Pick the Authentic if your budget is tight and you mainly want six airbags for the family. It covers the basics of getting around without extra frills. If you want the 8 inch touchscreen, move up to the Evolution. The Emotion adds a camera, alloys and ventilated front seats.
