Overview

The R-Line is the higher Tayron trim at ₹46.99 Lakh, using the same 2.0L TSI petrol as the Life. It makes 204 PS and 320 Nm, with all-wheel drive and a seven-seat layout. The engine drives through an automatic gearbox.

Over the Life you get a 360-degree Area View camera and a larger 15 inch Discover touchscreen. It rides on 19 inch Coventry black diamond-turned alloy wheels, up from the 18 inch set. The ADAS suite covers emergency braking, lane assist, side assist and rear traffic alert. You still get 9 airbags, adaptive cruise control and ventilated and heated front seats.

Pick the R-Line if you want the 360-degree camera, the bigger screen and the larger wheels over the Life. The power and drive are identical, so this is about equipment and presence, not performance. As the top trim there is nothing higher to step up to in the range.
