V Price and Specs, Honda City

The V is the manual petrol City that first brings the safety technology into the range. It shares the 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine with 121 PS and 145 Nm, driving the front wheels through a manual gearbox. It sits above the SV and below the automatic and ZX trims on price.

The big step over the SV is Honda Sensing, which bundles collision braking, lane keeping, road departure mitigation and auto high-beam. You also gain adaptive cruise control that holds a set gap in traffic, plus R15 multi-spoke alloy wheels. The screen stays at 8 inches and the airbag count holds at six, with a claimed 17.77 kmpl.

Go for the V manual if you want the driver aids and cruise control but prefer shifting gears yourself and want to keep the price down. If you drive a lot in traffic, the V CVT adds an automatic. For a bigger 10.1 inch screen and larger R16 alloys, look at the ZX.
