Move up to the ZX and you reach the well-equipped manual petrol City. The 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine carries over, making 121 PS and 145 Nm through a manual gearbox to the front wheels. It seats five and sits above the V trims but below the ZX+ and the hybrid on price.

Over the V, the ZX brings a larger 10.1 inch floating touchscreen and R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels. It keeps Honda Sensing, adaptive cruise control and six airbags, with a claimed 17.77 kmpl. The floating screen is the clearest visual upgrade inside the cabin. It does not add the front seat ventilation that the ZX+ includes.
