The V CVT is the automatic take on the V trim, priced at ₹13.43 lakh. It keeps the 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol engine with 121 PS and 145 Nm, but swaps the manual for a CVT automatic driving the front wheels. The automatic pushes the claimed figure to 16.92 kmpl.

You get the 8 inch HD touchscreen from the V manual, plus the ease of a two pedal automatic in traffic. Six airbags with dual front, side and curtain coverage handle safety. The automatic makes stop-start traffic far less tiring. Like the manual V, it does without alloy wheels, adaptive cruise and Honda Sensing.

Pick the V CVT if you want the convenience of an automatic and the higher 16.92 kmpl figure without spending on styling extras. It is a sensible city SUV. Move up to the VX for alloy wheels, or the ZX CVT for the full safety suite.
