Overview

The HTE (O) Petrol fixes the things the base Seltos leaves out in the back seat. It costs ₹12.42 lakh, ₹1.17 lakh over the HTE Petrol, and keeps the 1.5 litre petrol with 113 bhp and a 6 speed manual, rated at 16.5 kmpl.

Rear passengers get a 60:40 split seat that reclines, a centre armrest with cup holders and three adjustable headrests, none of which the HTE has. You also get roof rails, connected LED tail lamps, semi leatherette seats, seatback pockets and one touch up and down for the driver's window. The 10.25 inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, LED headlamps, the reverse camera and six airbags carry over.

It still uses a regular key and manual air conditioning, and the 16 inch wheels are steel. If you drive mostly in the city, the HTE (O) Petrol IVT gives you the same kit with an automatic for ₹1.30 lakh more. If you want push button start and a rear wiper, the HTK Petrol adds them for ₹1 lakh more.
