Overview

The HTX Turbo DCT is the cheapest Seltos that pairs the 158 bhp turbo with the full HTX cabin. It costs ₹18.02 lakh, uses the 1.5 litre turbo petrol with a 7 speed dual clutch automatic and is rated at 17.5 kmpl.

The turbo makes 253 Nm from 1500 rpm, so overtakes need only a light press of the pedal. Over the HTK (O) Turbo DCT, you gain the 12.3 inch touchscreen, Kia Connect 2.0, BOSE sound, dual zone climate control, LED fog lamps and the brown and grey leatherette cabin. Ventilated seats, the 8 way power driver seat and the panoramic sunroof carry over.

Driver assistance is the main thing missing. The HTX (A) Turbo DCT adds Level 2 ADAS, smart cruise control with stop and go and the 360 camera for ₹1.10 lakh more. If you mostly drive in town and park in open spaces, this HTX saves that money without losing comfort.
