MX2 Diesel MT is the cheapest way into a diesel XUV 3XO, at ₹9.36 Lakh ex-showroom. Its 1.5 litre four-cylinder turbo diesel makes 117 PS and a strong 300 Nm from 1,500 rpm, paired with a six-speed manual. The rated figure is 20.6 kmpl, so long highway runs stay affordable.

Over the MX1 you gain a 26.03 cm infotainment screen with four speakers and steering mounted audio controls. Remote keyless entry, follow me home headlamps and a front USB-A port join in. The standard set of six airbags, ESC, ISOFIX and four disc brakes carries over, along with reverse parking sensors and rear AC vents.
