The Techno Plus TCe 160 MT is a higher trim built on the 1.3 litre turbo manual. It makes 163 PS and 280 Nm, drives the front wheels and shifts through a manual gearbox. It seats five with a claimed 17.75 kmpl. The price is 15.29 lakh.

The standout change here is the wheels. This trim rides on 45.72 cm (18 inch) outback diamond-cut alloy wheels, up from the 17 inch ocean alloys lower down. You still get the 10.1 inch openR link touchscreen and cruise control. It goes without a sunroof, 360 camera and ADAS.

Pick the Techno Plus MT if you want the bigger 18 inch alloys and a manual gearbox. It looks more planted than the Adventure trims thanks to those wheels. If you want the 360 camera, ADAS and ventilated seats, you have to move up to the Iconic. Torque peaks at 280 Nm from just 2000 rpm, so highway pull comes easily.
