Overview

The Signature MT is the trim where the Kushaq starts to feel properly equipped. It runs the 1.0 litre TSI petrol with 115 PS and 178 Nm, a manual gearbox and front-wheel drive, seating five. Priced in the middle of the range, it returns a claimed 19.66 kmpl and adds the features most buyers actually want.

The big changes over the Classic Plus are a 10.1 inch touchscreen with an app store, a rear view camera with static guidelines and 17 inch Vega Silver alloys. You also get six airbags, cruise control and a single-pane electric sunroof. What it does not have is the panoramic roof or the ventilated seats that the Prestige brings.

Go for the Signature MT if you want the larger screen and the reversing camera but prefer to shift your own gears and keep the price down. It is a sensible, well-rounded choice. If you want a sportier look with black alloys for a little more, the Sportline sits just above it.
