Sportline is the Kushaq for buyers who want a sharper, darker look without changing the mechanicals. This manual version uses the familiar 1.0 litre TSI petrol with 115 PS and 178 Nm, driving the front wheels. It seats five, claims 19.66 kmpl and sits just above the Signature MT on price.

The headline change is the set of 17 inch Vega Black alloy wheels, which give it a more aggressive stance than the silver-wheeled Signature. Equipment otherwise mirrors that car, with a 10.1 inch touchscreen and app store, a rear view camera, six airbags, cruise control and a single-pane electric sunroof. There is no panoramic roof or ventilated seating at this level.

Pick the Sportline MT if the black-wheeled look appeals and you are happy with a manual. You get the same features as the Signature, so this is really a styling choice. If you want the panoramic roof and cooled seats, the Prestige is the trim to jump to next.
