The G CNG combines a fuller feature set with Toyota's factory S-CNG system, for buyers who want low running costs without a basic cabin. The 1.2 litre engine makes 76.4 bhp on CNG at a rated 30.61 km/kg, drives the front wheels through a manual, and adds 16 inch alloys, a 7 inch screen and cruise control.

Most CNG cars are bare-bones, so a G CNG with alloys, a proper screen and cruise control is genuinely useful. You get the cheap running of gas plus a well-equipped cabin, though the tank takes some boot space and power is lower than petrol, all backed by Toyota's reliability.

Choose the G CNG if you want low running costs and a good level of features together. Buyers who want the 360 camera and largest screen should look at the petrol V, which is not offered with CNG.
