Comfortline Price and Specs, Volkswagen Taigun

The Comfortline is the entry Volkswagen Taigun, and it opens the range at ₹11.00 lakh. It runs the 1.0 litre TSI turbo petrol making 114 bhp and 178 Nm, driving the front wheels through a manual gearbox. It seats five and claims 19.98 kmpl. This is the cheapest way into the Taigun badge and its German build.

You get six airbags and a 7 inch touchscreen, which covers the basics of safety and infotainment. What you do not get here is telling. There are no alloy wheels, no sunroof, no cruise control and no ventilated seats. The bigger 10.1 inch VW Play screen also arrives only from the Highline up.

Pick the Comfortline if you want the Taigun turbo petrol and safety at the lowest price, and can live without extras. If you want alloys and the larger screen, step up to the Highline. Buyers wanting a sunroof should look at the Highline Plus.
