Highline Price and Specs, Volkswagen Taigun

The Highline automatic takes the mid Highline and swaps the manual for an automatic, priced at ₹13.80 lakh. The 1.0 litre TSI petrol carries on with 114 bhp and 178 Nm, sending drive to the front wheels. The automatic drops the claimed figure slightly to 19.54 kmpl. This is the cheapest automatic Taigun.

You get the 10.1 inch VW Play touchscreen and 16 inch Nottingham alloys, as on the Highline manual. The automatic also adds cruise control, which the manual leaves out, so long drives are more relaxed. Six airbags are standard. A sunroof and ventilated seats are still reserved for higher trims.

Go for the Highline AT if you want an easy automatic for city traffic with cruise for the highway, without stretching to the Plus. If a sunroof is on your list, the Highline Plus automatic is the next step. The GT Line adds sportier 17 inch alloys and an electric sunroof.
