Highline Price and Specs, Volkswagen Taigun

The Highline manual sits a step above the Comfortline at ₹12.70 lakh. It keeps the 1.0 litre TSI petrol with 114 bhp and 178 Nm, front wheel drive and a manual gearbox, seating five. It claims 19.98 kmpl, matching the base trim on economy. This is the value entry to the better equipped Highline line.

The jump you feel here is inside and out. This trim brings the 10.1 inch VW Play touchscreen and 16 inch Nottingham alloy wheels, both of which the Comfortline goes without. Six airbags carry over for safety. You still miss a sunroof, cruise control and ventilated seats at this level, which higher trims add.

Choose the Highline manual if the bigger screen and alloys matter to you but you drive yourself and want a sensible price. It gives you the core Taigun feel without paying for an automatic. For an automatic, the Highline AT adds cruise control. A sunroof needs the Highline Plus.
