The Highline Plus automatic pairs a sunroof with an automatic gearbox, at ₹15.45 lakh. The familiar 1.0 litre TSI petrol makes 114 bhp and 178 Nm and drives the front wheels. The automatic returns a claimed 19.54 kmpl for five occupants. It is the best equipped Highline before the GT and Topline trims.

This trim is generously kitted for a Highline. You get an electric sunroof, cruise control, the 10.1 inch VW Play screen, 16 inch Nottingham alloys and six airbags. The automatic and cruise together make it an easy long distance car. Ventilated seats and a panoramic roof are the main things it misses.

Choose the Highline Plus AT if you want a sunroof, an automatic and cruise control without moving to the GT or Topline. The GT Line automatic swaps to 17 inch wheels for a sportier look. The Topline adds ventilated seats and a panoramic roof. For the strongest engine you would need the 1.5 TSI GT Plus.
