Highline Plus Price and Specs, Volkswagen Taigun

The Highline Plus manual is the first Taigun to bring a sunroof, at ₹14.30 lakh. Under the bonnet sits the same 1.0 litre TSI petrol with 114 bhp and 178 Nm, driving the front wheels through a manual gearbox. Five people fit inside and the claim is 19.98 kmpl.

On top of the Highline kit, this trim adds an electric sunroof, which is the headline reason to pick it. You keep the 10.1 inch VW Play screen, 16 inch Nottingham alloys and six airbags. Note that the manual skips cruise control, so this Plus does without it. Ventilated seats arrive only higher up the range.

This trim makes sense if you want a sunroof but prefer shifting gears yourself and want to avoid the automatic premium. If you want cruise control too, look at the Highline Plus automatic. The GT Line manual costs a little more and fits larger 17 inch black-painted alloys.
