The Topline automatic is the range-topping 1.0 TSI Taigun, priced at ₹17.18 lakh. The 1.0 litre TSI petrol makes 114 bhp and 178 Nm and drives the front wheels through an automatic. Seating is for five and the claim reads 19.54 kmpl. It is the priciest Taigun before the 1.5 litre GT Plus pair.

You get the full feature set here. That means a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, cruise control and 17 inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloys, plus the 10.1 inch VW Play screen and six airbags. The automatic makes daily traffic easier than the manual Topline. Only the engine separates it from the GT Plus.

This trim suits you if you want every 1.0 TSI feature with an automatic and do not need more power. For more performance, the GT Plus Chrome and GT Plus Sport use the 1.5 litre TSI. Otherwise the Topline AT is the sensible flagship. It shares its kit with the Topline manual.
