At ₹15.00 lakh the Highline Plus automatic joins the easy auto gearbox with an electric sunroof. It runs the 1.0L TSI petrol, rated at 113.98 bhp and 178 Nm, driving the front wheels. You get five seats and a claimed 18.45 kmpl.

You gain the electric sunroof on top of the automatic Highline package. The 25.65 cm (10.1 inch) VW Play touchscreen, 16 inch Scimitar alloy wheels and cruise control all remain. Ventilated front seats stay a Topline feature and are not fitted here. Cruise control helps on the open road, while the sunroof brightens the cabin.

This works well if you want a sunroof and an automatic but can skip cooled seats. Step up to the Topline automatic if ventilated seats matter, or drop to the Highline Plus manual to save money and use a clutch. For many buyers this mix is the sweet spot of the 1.0 range.
