HTE (O) Diesel Price and Specs, Kia Seltos

The HTE (O) Diesel is the diesel Seltos to pick if you want a comfortable rear seat without spending much. It costs ₹14.04 lakh, ₹1.10 lakh more than the HTE Diesel, and uses the 1.5 litre diesel with 114 bhp and 250 Nm, rated at 19.4 kmpl with a 6 speed manual.

That 250 Nm arrives from 1500 rpm, so the Seltos pulls well in higher gears and stays relaxed on long highway runs. Over the HTE Diesel, this trim adds a reclining 60:40 rear seat with a centre armrest, three rear headrests, roof rails, connected LED tail lamps and semi leatherette upholstery.

The rest is familiar. You get the 10.25 inch touchscreen with wireless phone mirroring, cruise control, six speakers, LED headlamps, a reverse camera and six airbags. Missing are alloys, push button start and a sunroof. For ₹1 lakh more, the HTK Diesel adds 17 inch alloys and push button start, which many diesel buyers will find worth it.
