The HTX Petrol is the most affordable way into the HTX level of the Seltos. For ₹15.92 lakh you get the 113 bhp petrol with a 6 speed manual, rated at 16.5 kmpl, and a much richer cabin.

Over the HTK (O) Petrol, the ₹1.40 lakh step adds a 12.3 inch touchscreen with Kia Connect 2.0 and over the air updates, plus an 8 speaker BOSE system. You also get dual zone automatic climate control with its own touch panel, ventilated front seats and LED fog lamps. The cabin changes to brown and grey leatherette with neon green accents and 64 colour ambient lighting.

As a petrol manual, it keeps 16 inch steel wheels and misses the power driver seat that the HTX automatics get. It also has no ADAS or 360 camera. For those, the HTX (A) Petrol costs ₹1.10 lakh more. Kia Connect comes with a three year free subscription, so the app features cost nothing at first.
