Pack One Above (59 kWh) Price and Specs, Mahindra XEV 9S

Pack One Above with the 59 kWh battery is the cheapest XEV 9S, at ₹20.65 lakh ex-showroom. It seats seven, has a 521 km rated range and makes 228 bhp from its rear motor. You get the same body, cabin space and 380 Nm of torque as the dearest version.

The kit is better than most base models. It has the openable panoramic sunroof, three 31.24 cm screens, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six airbags, cruise control and a reverse camera with rear sensors. Climate control is single zone with second row vents, and the seats are trimmed in fabric. It rides on 18 inch wheels with aero covers rather than alloys.

What it misses is the driver assistance. There is no ADAS, no 360 degree camera and no front parking sensors, and the seats are not ventilated. If you mainly drive in the city and can charge at home, this version does the job. For long highway runs, the 79 kWh version of this pack adds 158 km of range.
