Bayon's Level 2 ADAS and AI Assistant Come Only on the Top HX 10
Hyundai's brochure shows the AI assistant, dual 12.3-inch screens, Bose audio and Level 2 ADAS are HX 10 only, with four ADAS functions tied to the iVT.

The generative AI voice assistant and the Level 2 driver assistance that led Hyundai's Bayon launch on 26 October are reserved for the top HX 10 trim, the SUV's brochure shows.
The Bayon HX 10 costs ₹16,64,900 with the six-speed manual and ₹17,99,900 as an iVT automatic, both ex-showroom Delhi. The gap to the cheapest Bayon, the HX 2, is ₹6,65,000.
Hyundai's launch release listed 23 driver assistance functions, with a footnote saying availability may vary by variant. The brochure's trim table shows which versions get them.

Connected features are not limited to the top trim. The HX 5, HX 6 and HX 8 also get Bluelink and over-the-air updates through their 10.25-inch system, though Hyundai says the number of connected features varies by trim.
The assistant, which draws on Perplexity and SoundHound AI, works in English only, according to a footnote in the launch release.
How the 23 Functions Split
The HX 10 manual gets 19 of the 23 functions. They include six forward collision functions, lane keeping and lane following assist, blind-spot collision avoidance, rear cross-traffic avoidance and a safe exit warning.
The other four need the iVT. They are Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Highway Driving Assist, and navigation-based smart cruise control for zones and for curves. The manual HX 10 has conventional cruise control instead.
| Trim | Level 2 functions | Ex-showroom price |
|---|---|---|
| HX 2 to HX 6 | None | ₹9,99,900 to ₹14,96,800 |
| HX 8 | 1, the surround view monitor | ₹15,09,900 to ₹16,53,900 |
| HX 10 manual | 19 | ₹16,64,900 |
| HX 10 iVT | 23 | ₹17,99,900 |
Moving up from the HX 8 costs ₹1,55,000 with the manual and ₹1,46,000 with the iVT. Besides the screens, audio and driver aids, the HX 10 manual gains an electric parking brake with auto hold, which the HX 8 has only with the iVT.
Venue and Creta Keep ADAS at the Top Too
Hyundai follows the same pattern on the Venue and the Creta, but neither offers Highway Driving Assist or the navigation-based cruise functions.
| Model | Cheapest trim with Level 2 ADAS | Ex-showroom price | Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go | Highway Driving Assist |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Venue | HX 10 turbo DCT | ₹14,67,800 | Standard | Not offered |
| Bayon | HX 10 manual | ₹16,64,900 | iVT only | iVT only |
| Creta | King 1.5 petrol manual | ₹17,27,800 | Automatic versions only | Not offered |
The Venue's HX 10 turbo DCT brings Level 2 ADAS for ₹1,97,100 less than the Bayon HX 10 manual. Its brochure lists 16 functions, including Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go.
For the full Bayon set, the HX 10 iVT costs ₹68,900 less than the Creta's King iVT, which uses the same 1.5-litre engine and gearbox and is priced at ₹18,68,800.
