Cheapest Sunroof Cars This Diwali Start at ₹7.05 Lakh
Tata and Hyundai each offer three sunroof models under ₹10 lakh, while Maruti Suzuki's cheapest sunroof car is the Dzire ZXi+.

The cheapest car with a factory-fitted sunroof on sale in India this Diwali is the Hyundai i20 Magna, at ₹7,04,900 ex-showroom Delhi. That is the finding of a DynoBHP check of brochures and official price lists from every carmaker it tracks.
Twelve models offer a sunroof on at least one trim priced below ₹10 lakh. Tata and Hyundai have three each, Kia and Maruti Suzuki two each, and Skoda and Mahindra one each. Four of the twelve start under ₹8 lakh.

Hyundai, Kia and Maruti Suzuki prices are for Delhi. Tata, Mahindra and Skoda prices come from their own configurator, booking site and price tool. In most cases the step up from the trim below buys more than the sunroof alone.
Tata Marks Its Sunroof Trims With an S
On the Altroz, Punch and Nexon, the trim with a sunroof carries an "S" and costs ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 more than the one it builds on. Tata's brochures list the sunroof among the additions, along with small items such as auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers on the Nexon.
That makes the Altroz Pure S the cheapest Tata with a sunroof, ₹7,000 below the Punch Pure + S. On both, Tata lists the sunroof as voice-assisted.
A Gap in the i20 Line-Up
Hyundai's brochure lists a sunroof on the i20 Magna but not on the Sportz, the next trim up at ₹7,85,200. The sunroof returns on the Sportz (O), which costs ₹8,38,700.
The Exter has a similar quirk. Its sunroof first appears on the HX 4+, which Hyundai sells only with an AMT at ₹8,13,600, so the cheapest manual Exter with one is the HX 6.
Maruti Suzuki Starts With a Sedan
None of Maruti Suzuki's hatchbacks offers a sunroof, and neither does the Fronx, according to their brochures. Toyota's Glanza and Taisor do not have one either.
Maruti's cheapest sunroof car is the Dzire ZXi+ at ₹8,96,300. The Brezza gets one from the ZXi Turbo, priced at ₹9,94,900, which leaves it the costliest entry on this list.
Two Panoramic Roofs Under ₹10 Lakh
Only two cars bring a panoramic sunroof in below ₹10 lakh. The Nexon Pure + PS costs ₹9,71,990 on Tata's configurator, while the XUV 3XO REVX Edge (O) petrol manual is listed at ₹9,89,000 on Mahindra's booking site.
Kia's Syros moves to a dual-pane panoramic sunroof only from the HTK+, which costs ₹10,75,900.
