Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Renault Group India, said "Indian SUV customers should not have to choose between performance and fuel efficiency."

How the E-Tech Hybrid Works
The system pairs a 1.8-litre petrol engine with two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery for a combined 160 PS. A multi-mode automatic gearbox decides when to use the engine, the motors or both, and it recovers energy when the car slows down or brakes.
The battery charges itself while driving, so the Duster hybrid never needs to be plugged in. Renault says it can run on electric power for up to 80% of city driving time, based on its own tests. It also claims a range of more than 1,400 km.
Features and Ownership Package
Six airbags, hill start assist, cruise control with a speed limiter, rear parking sensors and a rear camera are standard. Renault's page for the hybrid also highlights full LED headlamps, a horizontal LED tail light bar and dual OpenR Link screens. It lists an electric panoramic sunroof, electric and ventilated front seats, dune brown leatherette upholstery and 212 mm of ground clearance.
Renault offers the Duster with its Forever Protect 360 package. It includes three years of comprehensive insurance, three years of scheduled maintenance and a 60% assured resale value after three years, subject to terms.
