About The Hyundai Bayon

The Hyundai Bayon is a five seat compact SUV that Hyundai launched on 26 October 2026 and builds in India. Prices run from ₹9,99,900 for the HX2 to ₹17,99,900 for the HX10 iVT, ex-showroom.

In size it slots between the Venue and the Creta. It is 4245 mm long on a 2600 mm wheelbase, which makes it 250 mm longer than the Venue, and Hyundai quotes a 505 litre boot.

There is one engine, the 1.5 litre petrol that the Creta also uses, rated at 115 PS and 143.8 Nm. Every trim comes with a 6 speed manual, and the HX5 and above also offer Hyundai's IVT automatic.

Six airbags, stability control, hill start assist and tyre pressure monitoring come on every version. The HX8 adds a 360 degree camera, and the HX10 brings Level 2 ADAS, Bose audio and Hyundai's first generative AI voice assistant in India. The Bayon trim guide shows where each feature starts.

The Bayon suits you if the Venue feels too small and you want a big boot and modern tech for less than a top Creta. Road tax changes the final figure a lot, so check the Bayon on-road price in your city.
