MG's Windsor INDULGE Edition Sits ₹5,000 Below the Long-Range Exclusive Pro
Beyond the Shadow Gold colour, the edition adds a tan cabin and a standard rear screen. How it compares on price, battery and range with the other Windsors.

The MG Windsor INDULGE Edition costs ₹17,99,800 ex-showroom, only ₹5,000 less than the Windsor Exclusive Pro, which has a bigger battery and a longer range.
JSW MG Motor India launched the edition on 14 October. It uses the Windsor's 38 kWh battery, with 100 kW (136 PS), 200 Nm and 332 km of certified range.
What the INDULGE Adds
On the outside, the edition comes in Shadow Gold with a black roof. It gets black door mirrors, black 18-inch alloy wheels and INDULGE badges on the rear pillars.
The cabin is trimmed in Urban Tan and black, with INDULGE stitched into the front headrests. A screen for the rear passengers, which MG calls the PRIVE Screen, is standard, along with themed cushions and neck pillows.
MG also lists an accessory package for the edition. It includes a rear sunshade, 3D floor mats, chrome trim for the grille, bumper corner guards, side mouldings and a leather key cover. The release does not say whether the package is part of the price.
Where It Sits in the Range
| Version | Battery | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Excite | 38 kWh | ₹14,84,800 |
| Exclusive | 38 kWh | ₹16,14,800 |
| Essence | 38 kWh | ₹17,14,800 |
| INDULGE Edition | 38 kWh | ₹17,99,800 |
| Exclusive Pro | 52.9 kWh | ₹18,04,800 |
| Essence Pro | 52.9 kWh | ₹19,14,800 |
The INDULGE costs ₹85,000 more than the Essence, the dearest Windsor with the smaller battery. For ₹5,000 above the INDULGE, the Exclusive Pro brings the 52.9 kWh pack, with a range of 449 km on MG's website.
So a buyer choosing between the two is trading the INDULGE's styling and rear-seat extras for 117 km of extra range. The full Windsor EV line-up shows what each version includes.
MG's release does not give a Battery as a Service price for the INDULGE. Under that plan, MG sells the other Windsors for less upfront and charges for the battery by the kilometre.
The Windsor's Record So Far
Vinay Raina, chief commercial officer of JSW MG Motor India, said the Windsor had reached more than 80,000 families in 24 months. MG says it is India's best-selling electric car.
The company has sold over 1,50,000 EVs in India since its first launch, across its electric range.
