Renault India Passes Its Full 2025 Sales Total in Ten Months
October sales rose 35% on September but were slightly below October 2025. What Renault credited, and when Duster Strong Hybrid deliveries begin.

Renault India sold 39,955 vehicles in India from January to October 2026, already 5% more than the 38,065 it sold across 2025. Renault gave the figures on 1 November.
The ten-month total was 31% higher than the 30,558 Renault sold in the same months last year. Renault reports on the calendar year, unlike Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra, which count from April.
October on Its Own
Renault sold 4,577 vehicles in October, 35% more than its 3,399 in September and 39% more than in July.
Its release did not compare October with a year earlier. Renault's own release for October 2025 gave wholesales of 4,672 units that month, so October 2026 came in about 2% lower.
| Period | 2026 | 2025 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| October | 4,577 | 4,672 | Down 2.0% |
| January to October | 39,955 | 30,558 | Up 30.8% |
| Full calendar year | Not yet complete | 38,065 | Already passed |
Last October's figure was lifted by the launch of the updated Triber and Kiger and by the GST cut, according to Renault at the time.
What Sold
Renault credited the Triber 100 PS, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol version of its seven-seat Triber MPV, and steady demand for the Kwid hatchback. It did not give sales by model.
The company's newest launch has not reached buyers yet. Deliveries of the Duster Strong Hybrid E-Tech 160, launched at ₹16.99 lakh ex-showroom, are yet to begin, Renault said, and will start shortly.
The hybrid pairs a 1.8-litre petrol engine with a 1.4 kWh battery and two electric motors, for 160 PS in total. It has an ARAI-certified rating of 29 km/l.
