The all-new Audi Q3, launched in India on 16 October 2026, makes 10 kW more than the model it replaces but starts ₹8.32 lakh higher. Audi India's booking site still lists both generations, so the two can be compared on Audi's own figures.

For the outgoing Q3, the booking site gives only trims, prices, engine figures and colours. This comparison sticks to those, plus the changes Audi itself describes as new.

10 kW More, Same 320 Nm

Both generations use a 1,984 cc engine. Power rises from 140 kW (190 PS) to 150 kW (204 PS), while peak torque stays at 320 Nm.

Audi quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds for the new model. That is 0.2 seconds quicker than the outgoing Q3's 7.3 seconds.

Three Trims Become Two

The outgoing Q3 comes in Premium, Premium Plus and Technology trims, from ₹43.67 lakh to just under ₹53 lakh ex-showroom (before road tax and insurance). The new model has two trims, the Nova at ₹51.99 lakh and the Zenith at ₹55.99 lakh.

The entry price rises by ₹8.32 lakh, and the top price by ₹2,99,001. The new Nova sits ₹1,00,999 below the old Technology trim, the most expensive version of the outgoing car.

What Audi Lists as New

The gear selector moves from the centre console to a stalk on the steering column. At the rear, illuminated Audi rings appear on a Q3 for the first time, lit together with the low beams.

The Zenith adds Digital Matrix LED headlights built from 25,600 micro-LEDs. Audi says the technology is new to the compact segment.

Colours Change Inside and Out

The outgoing Q3 offers a Black cabin on the Premium trim and Pearlescent Beige or Okapi Brown on the upper two. Both trims of the new model get Tamarind Brown or Pergament Beige.

Outside, the count stays at five shades, but two colours make way for Sage Green and Tambora Grey. Progressive Red and Nano Grey are not offered on the new Q3.

Built in India, Like the Last One

Piyush Arora, MD and CEO of Skoda Auto Volkswagen India, said the new Q3 is produced in India like its predecessor, at the company's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar plant. The booking site still lists the outgoing Q3 and the Q3 Sportback, and Audi's launch release does not mention a new Q3 Sportback for India.
