Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 30,360 vehicles in October 2026, 29.2% fewer than the 42,892 it sold in October 2025, according to the company's monthly sales releases.

Sales in India fell 26.7% to 29,521 units, from 40,257. Exports dropped to 839 from 2,635.

Toyota's release for this October did not compare the month with last year. It gave figures for January to October instead, which show total sales up 3%.

Diwali also fell earlier last year, on 20 October 2025. This year it falls on 8 November.

Against September 2026, when Toyota sold 28,218 vehicles, October's total was 7.6% higher.

Sabari Manohar, Toyota's executive vice president for sales, service and used cars, said the festive season continued to draw customer interest. He added that market conditions continue to evolve.

He singled out the Glanza facelift, which he said had drawn an encouraging response. Toyota did not give sales figures for any model.

What Toyota Sells

Toyota builds the Innova HyCross, Innova Crysta, Fortuner and Legender at its Bidadi plant near Bengaluru, according to its October 2025 release. The Toyota line-up in India also includes the Glanza, Taisor and Rumion.

Its sales releases count every Toyota sold, without splitting them by plant or by model.
