Maruti Suzuki's October Exports Jump 59% to 49,872 Vehicles
After two months below last year's level, Maruti's exports have risen every month since July. The full monthly record for 2026-27 so far.

Maruti Suzuki exported 49,872 vehicles in October 2026, 59.3% more than the 31,304 it shipped in October 2025, its sales release shows.
It was Maruti's highest monthly export figure of the financial year so far. Exports have risen in each month since July, after slipping below last year's level in July and August.
Exports Month by Month
| Month of 2026 | Exported | Change |
|---|---|---|

| September | 44,219 | Up 4.8% |
| October | 49,872 | Up 59.3% |
October's total was also 5,653 units above September's 44,219, the previous high for the year.
From April to October, exports came to 2,82,727, up 18.4% on a year earlier. That is already 63% of the record 4,47,774 it exported in 2025-26.
Why the Swing Matters
Maruti said in its July to September results that it held up exports despite a challenging geopolitical situation. Exports in that quarter were 1,08,119, slightly below a year earlier.
October marks a sharp turn from that. Exports made up 18.1% of everything Maruti sold in the month, against 14.2% a year earlier.
The release does not say which models or markets drove the rise. Maruti's most exported models in the last financial year were the Fronx, Jimny, Swift, Baleno and Dzire.
The Electric Contribution
Electric cars now add to the total. On 29 October, Maruti said its e Vitara exports had passed 50,000 units since its first shipments in August 2025.
Maruti says it now exports 16 models to nearly 120 countries. Citing SIAM, Maruti put its share of the country's passenger vehicle exports above 50% for April to September.
The export jump came in the same month as Maruti's best-ever monthly sales, with exports adding about a third of its year-on-year growth.
