Hyundai Launches the Bayon in India at ₹9.99 Lakh
The Bayon starts at ₹9,99,900 and tops out at ₹17,99,900. Prices for all 11 versions, what each trim adds, the colours and the key specifications.

Hyundai Motor India launched the Bayon on 26 October, with prices from ₹9,99,900 for the base HX 2 manual to ₹17,99,900 for the HX 10 with the iVT automatic, ex-showroom Delhi.
The five-seat SUV comes in seven trims and 11 versions, all powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine. Hyundai has slotted it above the Venue and below the Creta midsize SUV, and it is made in India.
Prices for Every Version

| HX 8 | ₹15,09,900 | ₹16,53,900 |
| HX 10 | ₹16,64,900 | ₹17,99,900 |
The first two steps up the range cost ₹90,000 each. The gaps grow towards the top, where the HX 8 and HX 10 each cost more than ₹1.5 lakh over the trim below.
The automatic is offered from the HX 5 upwards and adds ₹1,35,000 to ₹1,44,000 over the manual. Two dual-tone colours cost ₹15,000 extra on the same trims, so the most expensive Bayon, an HX 10 iVT with a black roof, is listed at ₹18,14,900.
What Each Trim Adds
| Trim | Main additions over the trim below |
|---|---|
| HX 2 | Six airbags, ESC, tyre pressure monitoring, ISOFIX, rear parking sensors, LED projector headlamps, rear AC vents |
| HX 3 | 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, speakers, rear camera, smart key |
| HX 3+ | Electric sunroof, roof rails, 17-inch styled steel wheels |
| HX 5 | Automatic climate control, cruise control, wireless charger, auto headlamps, rear defogger, connected car features, over-the-air updates |
| HX 6 | Panoramic sunroof, 17-inch diamond-cut alloys, dual LED projector headlamps, ambient lighting, rear wiper |

| HX 10 | Twin 12.3-inch screens, generative AI voice assistant, Bose audio, Level 2 ADAS |
A few items depend on the gearbox rather than the trim. Paddle shifters and the drive mode button come only with the iVT, as do Hyundai's Dash Boost Mode and Sporty Drive Tech.
Engine, Size and Boot
Every Bayon uses Hyundai's four-cylinder 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine, with outputs of 115 PS and 143.8 Nm. Its official fuel economy has not been declared yet.
The SUV is 4,245 mm long, 1,810 mm wide and 1,605 mm tall with roof rails, with a 2,600 mm wheelbase. Hyundai puts ground clearance at 205 mm, unladen and by its own measurement, and the turning radius at 5.16 metres.
Boot space is 505 litres on the VDA 215 standard. Hyundai took that reading with the tyre repair kit, which only the HX 2 carries in place of a spare. The fuel tank takes 43 litres.
Ten Colours, Three on Lower Trims

Hyundai offers six monotone colours, two matte finishes and two dual-tone options with a Titanium Black roof. The HX 2, HX 3 and HX 3+ come only in Titanium Black, Atlas White and Classy Blue, Hyundai's booking website shows.
Fiery Red, Golden Bronze, Ecotronic Grey and the two matte Bayon colours join from the HX 5. Dual-tone cars get a black interior with red accents, while all others use black and olive grey.
Exports, Bookings and Warranty
Hyundai will export the India-built Bayon to more than 50 markets, managing director and CEO Tarun Garg said in the launch statement. He described the SUV as the start of Hyundai's "next golden product cycle in India".
Bookings have been open since 23 September at ₹11,000. Hyundai said on 12 October that deliveries would begin during the festive season, but the launch release gives no date.
Trims with Bluelink connected features, from the HX 5 upwards, get three years of free subscription. Hyundai says extended warranty of up to seven years or 1,40,000 km is available on every variant.
