Hyundai Venue, Bayon and Creta: Specs Compared Before Launch
Hyundai has confirmed the Bayon's 1.5-litre engine and AI assistant but not its India-spec size. Here is how it lines up against the Venue and Creta.

Hyundai will launch the Bayon in India on 26 October 2026, adding a third compact SUV to a showroom line-up that already includes the Venue and the Creta. Hyundai has confirmed the Bayon's engine and technology, but not its price or its India-spec dimensions.
Bookings are open for ₹11,000 at Hyundai dealerships and on Hyundai's website. The Hyundai Venue is priced from ₹7,99,900 to ₹15,64,700 ex-showroom Delhi, and the Creta from ₹10,90,700 to ₹20,30,700.
How Big Is the Bayon?
Hyundai India has not published the Bayon's length, width, wheelbase or boot space. The closest official guide is the European Bayon, which Hyundai Europe revealed at the Paris Motor Show on 12 October.
That car measures 4,245 mm long and 1,810 mm wide, on a 2,600 mm wheelbase. Hyundai Europe lists 440 litres of luggage space for its petrol versions.
If the India-spec Bayon stays close to those figures, it would sit between the Venue and the Creta in length. It would be 250 mm longer than the Venue and 85 mm shorter than the Creta, with a wheelbase 80 mm longer than the Venue's and 10 mm shorter than the Creta's.
The two Bayons are not identical. The European model uses 1.0-litre turbo petrol engines, with a hybrid to follow, while the India-spec car gets a 1.5-litre petrol.

Engines and Gearboxes
The India-spec Bayon uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine rated at 115 PS and 144 Nm, with a 6-speed manual or an IVT automatic. Hyundai's brochure rates the Creta's 1.5-litre petrol at the same 115 PS and 14.7 kgm, with the same two gearboxes.
Hyundai has not announced a turbo petrol or a diesel for the Bayon. The Venue's 1.0-litre turbo petrol makes 120 PS and 172 Nm, 5 PS and 28 Nm more than the Bayon's larger engine. The Venue and the Creta both also offer a 116 PS 1.5-litre diesel.

Screens and the AI Assistant
The Bayon gets dual 12.3-inch curved displays and a navigation system accelerated by NVIDIA. The Venue's variant line-up already offers both on its HX10 trims, which start at ₹14,67,800.
What the Bayon adds is a generative AI voice assistant, built with Perplexity and SoundHound AI. Hyundai calls it the first such assistant in its India range, and it works in English only.
Hyundai also lists over-the-air updates for up to 19 of the Bayon's controllers and more than 70 Bluelink connected features. It has not said which Bayon trims get which features, or whether the Bayon offers Level 2 ADAS like the Venue HX10 and the Creta King.
